Camp Info

Description:
We are a nonprofit youth wilderness organization. We give people challenging/adventure experiences in order to develop leadership & character, and help them understand how God wants to be a part of our lives. We do this primarily through: whitewater rafting, backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing, caving, team building courses, and winter adventures. We focus on Jr/Sr High youth, yet a fair number of our trips are for adults. We do most of our rafing on the Deschutes River in Oregon, most of our backpacking on Mt. Adams, in WA.
Adventures:
Rock Climbing, Spelunking, Whitewater Rafting, Canoe Trips, Backpacking Trips, Wilderness Hikes, Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing
Focus:
Youth is our focus, though we take adults as well.
Location:
Rhododendron, Oregon. 1 hour east of Portland on Mt. Hood

Have you been on an adventure with this camp? Tell others about it.

We don't know everything so please suggest a camp for consideration if you know of a camp that you feel meets this description:

  • The camp's primary goal is to share the word of Jesus Christ to Christians and Non-Believers
  • They use outdoor adventures as a primary method of helping individuals to experience God. ie: their adventures constitute a majority focus of their programming.
  • Examples of such adventures may include (but are not limited to) White water River Rafting, Rock Climbing, Backpacking, Hiking, Wilderness Trips, Kayaking, Spelunking, Mountaineering, Mountain Biking, Canyoneering...

We would love to personally visit each and every camp; unfortunately we are unable to do so. Our inclusion of camps is therefore partially based on outside recommendations and research. If you feel that a camp has been listed in error, or would like to tell us more about a camp, please fill out our camp questionnaire.
