Reviews
| My name is Kellie Pittsley and I am one of the youth directors
at Mullein Hill Baptist church in Lakeville, MA. We have gone on
four trips with Living Waters Wilderness Camp in Danforth , Maine.
It is well worth the eight hour drive that we must take to get there.
They run a great trip from every aspect of it. They help you to
organize your trip by sending promotional videos and detailed packing
lists. This is important because if you don't pack right your stuff
could get wet. I follow their directions and my stuff has never
gotten wet, and I even tipped!!! The staff is friendly and well
trained in Wilderness living. Safety is always their first concern,
and I always feel that my group is safe in their hands. The food
is fabulous. The Bible lessons are good; and relevant. They document
your trip in pictures so you'll always have a reminder of your trip.
We always have a great time and the kids ask to go back. I would
highly recommend this camp to anyone. Thank you, Kellie J. Pittsley |

We
don't know everything so please suggest
a camp for consideration if you know of a camp that you feel
meets this description:
- The camp's primary
goal is to share the word of Jesus Christ to Christians and Non-Believers
- They use outdoor
adventures as a primary method of helping individuals to experience
God. ie: their adventures constitute a majority focus of their
programming.
- Examples of such
adventures may include (but are not limited to) White water River
Rafting, Rock Climbing, Backpacking, Hiking, Wilderness Trips,
Kayaking, Spelunking, Mountaineering, Mountain Biking, Canyoneering...
We would love to personally
visit each and every camp; unfortunately we are unable to do so.
Our inclusion of camps is therefore partially based on outside recommendations
and research. If you feel that a camp has been listed in error,
or would like to tell us more about a camp, please fill
out our camp questionnaire. |
