Camp Info

Description:
An extensive program of Christian adventure, sports, arts and samplers is offered each summer, and retreat space is available year’round. Co-ed, resident camps are usually one week sessions, with some shorter options for younger campers and are designed with plenty of outdoor recreation, campfires, and inspirational opportunities. Adventure Camps may include rock climbing, bouldering, rappelling, whitewater rafting, kayaking, inflatable “duckies”, caving, mountainboards, individual and group initiatives, games, or teambuilding activities. Activities vary based on camp selected and age. Established in 1941,Jumonville has been a leader in Adventure programming and training for over 30 years. Spiritual applications are integrated into adventure activities for maximum insight, and the Wednesday worship services are interactive and fun. Jumonville’s program and facilities offer comfort, adventure and inspiration.

Have you been on an adventure with this camp? Tell others about it.

We don't know everything so please suggest a camp for consideration if you know of a camp that you feel meets this description:

  • The camp's primary goal is to share the word of Jesus Christ to Christians and Non-Believers
  • They use outdoor adventures as a primary method of helping individuals to experience God. ie: their adventures constitute a majority focus of their programming.
  • Examples of such adventures may include (but are not limited to) White water River Rafting, Rock Climbing, Backpacking, Hiking, Wilderness Trips, Kayaking, Spelunking, Mountaineering, Mountain Biking, Canyoneering...

We would love to personally visit each and every camp; unfortunately we are unable to do so. Our inclusion of camps is therefore partially based on outside recommendations and research. If you feel that a camp has been listed in error, or would like to tell us more about a camp, please fill out our camp questionnaire.
