Description:
 Alpine Ministries offers four major avenues of ministry: Alpine Bible Camp, Alpine Adventures, Alpine Retreats, and Alpine Outdoor Education. Alpine Adventures provides guided whitewater rafting on the New and Gauley Rivers, paintball, high ropes, teambuilding, rappelling, and caving for groups. Alpine Bible Camp provides several weeks of resident and day camp, and campers can choose from a selection of outdoor adventures for their activities. Our newest program, Alpine Outdoor Education, seeks to serve Christian and public schools by providing hands-on, educational outdoor activities about God's creation during the school year.
Adventures:
 Rock Climbing, Spelunking, Whitewater Rafting, Wilderness Hikes
Focus:
 Traditional resident camps serve children, youth, and families, while Alpine Adventures ministers to primarily church-related groups.

We don't know everything so please suggest a camp for consideration if you know of a camp that you feel meets this description:

  • The camp's primary goal is to share the word of Jesus Christ to Christians and Non-Believers
  • They use outdoor adventures as a primary method of helping individuals to experience God. ie: their adventures constitute a majority focus of their programming.
  • Examples of such adventures may include (but are not limited to) White water River Rafting, Rock Climbing, Backpacking, Hiking, Wilderness Trips, Kayaking, Spelunking, Mountaineering, Mountain Biking, Canyoneering...

We would love to personally visit each and every camp; unfortunately we are unable to do so. Our inclusion of camps is therefore partially based on outside recommendations and research.
